About Me

I am a Ph.D. Candidate at Princeton University's Department of Politics and a Fulbright Scholar in Brazil at the Fundação Getulio Vargas-São Paulo (2023-2024). I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Jurisprudence, as well as a Master of Arts in Law and Governance from Montclair State University. I completed a Master of Arts in Politics at New York University. I am interested in presidentialism, populism and judicial politics. While at Princeton, I have focused on the politics of horizontal accountability in Latin America. I have written and co-authored papers that have been published by the American Political Science Association, the National Political Science Honor Society, Latin American Perspectives, and the Oxford Handbook of Latin American Social Movements. I have presented my work at the annual meetings of the American Political Science Association, the Northeastern Political Science Association, and the Latin American Studies Association.
